Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our team at Adecco UK. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt and delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery Operations: Collecting stock from customer locations and delivering it to our warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Communication: Liaising with stakeholders to ensure smooth receipt and delivery of products, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensuring safe driving practices, adhering to all driving laws and regulations, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Warehouse Operations: Loading and unloading deliveries, using manual handling best practices to lift goods, and coordinating the receipt, order, and despatch of goods.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintaining the company vehicle to ensure compliance with vehicle regulations.
  • System Accuracy: Updating and maintaining system accuracy for all movements.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrating a keen eye for detail and working well under pressure to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Teamwork: Liaising with all internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met, and performing any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong Work Ethic: A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Health and Safety: Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and manual handling techniques.
  • Administration: Administration skills, including Microsoft Office experience.
  • Warehouse Experience: Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work with all levels of staff and facilitate customer needs.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work with minimal supervision and be flexible in your work schedule.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with a willingness to cooperate and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Driving Licence: Full clean driving licence is required.
  • Forklift Licence: Forklift licence is required.
