The role will support work across a wide range of HR service developments.

Working as an essential element of the Corporate and Schools HR function to improve service delivery.

To support the corporate and schools recruitment process within the Council, produce and promote initiatives as well as producing and analysing relevant data.

To assist with all HR related data and become a champion working on corporate and schools information and systems.

About you:

  • Ability to assemble and analyse information to make substantiated recommendations.
  • An innovative approach to collaborative working and customer engagement.
  • Competent in the use of information technology and data systems.
  • An ability to operate sensitively and with empathy when dealing with sensitive HR issues.
  • To maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

What you will do:

  • Work on the collation, development and presentation of HR and Recruitment related data.
  • Ensuring that recruitment and advertising campaigns are dealt with accurately and efficiently including liaising with the translation
  • Provide advice, guidance and training to applicants and managers on all aspects of recruitment
  • To assist with the development of a programme of work based activities supporting HR and recruitment
  • To ensure the correct information and resources are accessible to school based staff via the internal HR resource hub or Hwb.
  • To provide a point of contact for any non operational queries
