Salary: 16.13 per hour, Saturday Day x1.5 = 20.22ph, Saturday Night x1.5 = 21.17ph and Sunday = 23.06
Location: DS Smith Sheet Feeding, Cromwell House, Altendiez Way, Burton Latimer, Kettering NN15 5YZ, UK
Job Type: Full Time, Ongoing Contractual role initially for 3 months
Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, double days, 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm on rotation
Interview Format: Face-to-Face
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate machinery, ensuring all protocols are followed.
- Maximise operational efficiencies and minimise downtime.
- Achieve set productivity and performance targets.
- Maintain consistent quality standards.
- Conduct maintenance and cleaning tasks according to the planned maintenance schedule.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out correctly and efficiently.
- Assist with improvement initiatives as they arise.
- Support the implementation of new processes and improvements.
- Prioritise health and safety for yourself and others.
- Operate in line with Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and company procedures.
- Immediately address and report any unsafe acts or health and safety incidents to management.
- Contribute to creating a safe working environment for all.
