We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at Weetabix. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the effective operation of machinery within our factories, ensuring Health and Safety policies and Food Safety compliance are upheld.

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, operating machinery in line with Standard Operating Procedures, and participating in Risk Assessment reviews. You will also be required to engage in Performance Management through participation in Baton Handovers, Short Interval Control, Team Huddles, and Daily Operations Reviews to improve team KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery per Standard Operating Procedures to ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety compliance
  • Encourage safety practices by providing constructive feedback among peers
  • Report hazards using the T-card system
  • Participate in Risk Assessment reviews as needed
  • Engage in Performance Management through participation in Baton Handovers, Short Interval Control, Team Huddles, and Daily Operations Reviews to improve team KPIs
  • Support Fuel for Growth initiatives through Root Cause Analysis and improvement projects
  • Complete basic machine setup and maintenance after training
  • Utilise basic computer skills, including Office and real-time data capture tools
  • Adhere to 5S principles and participate in factory audits

  • Basic Food Hygiene – CIEH Certificated
