- This temporary position is exclusively for current permanent and temporary employees, and agency workers on assignment at East Dunbartonshire Council.
- The salary will be adjusted accordingly for part-time hours.
- Please take note that the appointment for this role will commence in August 2024.

- The criteria mentioned is applicable to all roles at East Dunbartonshire Council where PVG/Disclosure checks are necessary.
- Successful candidates for roles categorized as Regulated Work under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007, must undergo PVG Scheme or PVG Scheme Update check before confirmation of employment.
- Successful candidates will be responsible for covering the cost of the check, deducted from their initial salary payment.
- In certain cases, the deduction may occur in installments following employment commencement, subject to approval by HR Services Lead.
- If an employee leaves before the deduction, the full amount will be taken from the final salary.
- Existing East Dunbartonshire Council employees applying for roles necessitating a PVG/Disclosure check will also abide by these criteria.
