PVG / Disclosure Scotland

For all positions within East Dunbartonshire Council requiring PVG/Disclosure checks, the following criteria apply:

If the role falls under Regulated Work according to the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007, successful candidates will need to undergo the necessary checks before finalizing employment.

Successful candidates are responsible for covering the cost of the check, which will be deducted from their first salary payment. In certain cases, the deduction may occur in installments post the start of employment, with approval from HR Services Lead.
