Seeking an experienced and motivated Onshore Wind Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the development and delivery of onshore wind projects across the UK, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originating new opportunities and ensure securing the land as well as any needed pre-feasibility qualifications.
  • Undertaking detailed assessments of a site's renewable development potential.
  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of onshore wind projects from inception to completion.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
  • Secure necessary permits, licenses, and consents from regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Engage with landowners, local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure support and compliance.
  • Oversee the construction and commissioning of wind farm projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor project performance, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, renewable energy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing onshore wind projects, with a strong understanding of the UK renewable energy market.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
