Engagement Ranger

We are looking for an Engagement Ranger to help us maintain access, recreation and nature, manage volunteers, and engage with visitors, as well as working with partners and colleagues as appropriate.
You will be required to work on a rota pattern with a requirement to work 50% of weekends per annum and some bank holidays.
You will need to be a people person who is able to use their own initiative and work closely with visitors and local communities.
You will have relevant experience of countryside management, experience of working with visitors and volunteers, and be passionate about providing access to nature and the countryside.

The Peak District National Park was the first of Britain's 15 national parks and is still enjoyed by millions, looking for both adventure and a breathing space to escape.
It is also the most accessible due its proximity to four major cities of the UK and its 38,000 residents.
