Multi-Skilled Operative in Cardiff

Our client, based in Cardiff, is currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Operatives on a temporarycontract for one month, with a chance to be extended. Our client provide affordable housing in and around Cardiff, and are looking to add to their growing maintenance team.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The hourly rate for this role is £22 per hour, paid on an Umbrella CIS basis.

The ideal candidate will have Social Housing experience, as well as an NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or Plumbing

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Basic carpentry including fitting skirting boards, changing locks and installing fencing
  • Plumbing including replacing and repairing showers, sinks, taps and baths
  • Patch plastering and silicone work
  • Respond to works on a PDA (No need to go to a depot daily)

Experience required:

  • Social Housing experience
  • A core trade as well as strong ability in a second trade
  • An NVQ Level 2 in a core trade

Rewards and Benefits:

  • Fuel card provided/ Mileage covered

Working hours:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
