Working in an interdisciplinary team of scientists and engineers, you will take the lead in designing complex cellular systems.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience in building data pipelines and familiar with multi-omics integration
Experience in developing algorithms for analysis of biological data and utilising bioinformatics tools: integrate, mine and analyse complex biological data and translate them into testable hypotheses
Experience in general-purpose programming and scripting languages like: Python, Java, R, C/C++ or, Julia
Experience in working with SQL and NoSQL databases (graph databases, e.g. Neo4j, TigerGraph)
Experience in working with cloud computing environments (e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google)
Familiar with computational approaches that translate human genetic evidence to inform target selection and validation decisions across a range of disease areas.

Preferred Qualifications

PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or a related field
Experience in handling next-generation sequencing (NGS) big data and HPC computing
Knowledge of modelling biological networks and network analysis
Familiar with cancer research, including a working understanding of computational approaches for cancer genome analysis
Broad knowledge of scientific disciplines related to drug discovery and development
Self-directed, independent, and highly motivated, able to learn new concepts quickly, comfortable in a fast-paced environment
A passion for human genetics-driven drug discovery and development.
