NHS Highland has a vacancy for a Vascular Interventional Radiologist based in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. There is a full time opportunity however applicants wishing to work part time or looking for flexibility in or across working weeks will be considered. You will complement a team of consultants providing the full range of medical and surgical specialties consistent with the largest district general hospital for the Scottish Highlands.

You may wish to retain an input to diagnostic/general radiology and that can accommodated. The Interventional Radiology Team will be located within the Surgical & Diagnostic Division and will work closely with the departments of Vascular Surgery, Urology and Gynaecology in particular.

You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to the NHS Scotland values and the principles and practice of Realistic Medicine.

You will also be working alongside highly regarded, dynamic and supportive clinical colleagues in radiography, nursing and in regional collaboration with neighbouring Boards.

Successful candidates must be on the General Medical Council Specialist Register with a Licence to Practice or within six months of obtaining CCT in Radiology at time of interview.
