The Role


The Innovation and Technology team's Project Manager will manage projects ensuring deliverables are achieved to cost, time and quality criteria. They have an exciting programme of IT transformation covering several projects and this role will be essential to their success. This role will have a particular focus on the delivery of Automation projects and the automation of business processes both within Arvato and for external customers.

The role requires an excellent track record of delivering technical projects with strong planning and organisational skills, coupled with experience of working across multiple work streams. This is an important key role which will work closely with the Director of Innovation and Technology and the sub teams within this area. This role will be a blend of remote working and site based for project meetings but may require travel to Arvato sites and Customer locations.

Primary Accountabilities and Deliverables:

  • Manage Projects through the full project life cycle
  • Ensure effective Project communication
  • Effective stakeholder Management
  • Consult, support, engage and coach project teams at all levels
  • Ensure all risks and issues are reported and managed
  • Provide effective updates
  • Support wider Major Project activities
  • Contribute to the development of Project and Programme standards, including the standard implementation methodologies
  • Maintain a level of technical awareness and capability
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/workstreams

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience of managing multiple projects through the full project life cycle
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering successful projects
  • Good understanding of BPO operations, quality management and SLA frameworks
  • Experienced in working across multiple geographical locations
  • Ability to work independently with minimum support
  • Creativity in problem solving
  • Capable of operating in a complex matrix environment
  • Knowledge and experience of cloud based software products and services will be an advantage

Relevant Qualifications:

PMP, APMP, Prince2 or a similar certification will be an advantage.

Key Measures:

  • Successful delivery of projects to time, quality and cost in line with the programme deliverables as defined by Arvato CRM UK and its customers.
