FINANCE ASSISTANT SKELMERSDALE - PERMANENT Upto £27,000

Our client, a well established family run company who have built an amazing reputation across the Northwest and have a turnover of £8 Million have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their friendly team. The role is an all-round accounts role covering sales ledger, credit control and purchase ledger.

Your main responsibilities will include:
Raising sales invoices to clients (between 30 and 50 per week)Sending out pro-formed invoicesChasing Site Managers to deal with costing queries and when resolved, sending out invoices Producing statements of accounts and actioning any queriesUsing the aged debtor report to chase outstanding payments twice per week via telephone and emailManaging 10x live accounts on the debtors ledger chat, a lot of outstanding debt as wellReporting weekly on sales/aged debt/pro-formed invoices Assisting with purchase ledger once per week-posting supplier invoicesProcessing applications for payments Reconciling credit card statements Assisting with month end Using the Xerp accounting system Ad hoc- taxing/MOT'ing fleet of 72 vehicles, hotel booking and topping up toll charge cards
The successful individual will have previous accounts experience, be enthusiastic and work well with others in a team. Construction industry experience would be an advantage.
