An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a new and innovative team within North Ayrshire HSCP. The Family Centred Wellbeing Service was introduced in November 2021 and has been operational in the Irvine and Three Towns localities since then. We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic practitioner to support the expansion of this service into the Kilwinning and Garnock Valley localities, as well as to support the demand that has been established within Irvine and the Three Towns. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other professionals and devise multi-agency care plans, focused on early, preventative, interventions, for children aged 5-18 years and their families. This service has been developed in partnership with colleagues in Education, who remain a key partner. Education colleagues have provided opportunities for training, learning and development on several approaches to promote the healthy wellbeing and development of the children and families supported by the team. The service is passionate about improving outcomes for young people and we are committed to strengths-based and innovative practice that seeks to empower families to be able to meet their specific needs independently, reducing the need for longer-term social services intervention. We do this by subscribing to frameworks such as the Promise and Signs of Safety, and training will be made available on these frameworks.
