They are looking to recruit a self-motivated and enthusiastic Head of Finance to provide excellent reporting and detailed management accounts.

Head of Finance - The Role \r
\r

As Head of Finance, you will work alongside the Partners to manage financial projects and growth with forensic attention to detail.

\r
\r

Specifically, you will:
\r

\r

Produce accurate and timely management accounts and financial reports; \r
\r

\r
\tDevelop financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow; \r
\tEnsure compliance with accounting, regulatory and industry standards; \r
\tIdentify risks and implement strategies to mitigate them; \r
\tPrepare budgets, forecasts and variance analysis to enable strategic decision-making; \r
\tMonitor cash and prepare cash flow forecasts; \r
\tManage the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll function; \r
\tProvide strong administrative support & manage small finance/admin team; \r
\tProvide information and support to internal teams and external stakeholders as required; \r
\tAssist with ad hoc finance projects. \r

The Successful Applicant \r
\r

You will ideally be a qualified accountant who has worked in a similar role in an SME or someone looking to move from practice with existing farming experience who can bring ambition and enthusiasm to this exciting role.

Requirements include:
\r

\r

\r
\tACCA/ CIMA/ ACA (QBE and AAT also considered); \r
\tExperience in preparing management accounts and budgets; \r
\tA good understanding of accounting concepts (double entry/accruals/ prepayments, etc); \r
\tFarming/ Agricultural experience an advantage; \r
\r
\r

Good Excel skills; \r
\r

\r
\tA detailed and analytical mind with excellent attention to detail; \r
\tExcellent communicator and a strong team player; \r
\tStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills; \r
\tAbility to multitask and manage deadlines. \r
\r
\r
