This role will be key in providing support to the finance and operation team by completing routine financial and management accounting tasks across the group.

Responsibilities:

Accounting:
Prepare month-end files in readiness for the month-end processReview and reconcile intercompany transactionsPrepare and produce management accounts for all group companies, posting month end journals including fixed assets, depreciation, GRNI, accruals and prepaymentsPrepare financial accounts and reporting; ensuring all balance sheet items are fully reconciledProduce management information and key KPI performance reports as required
Fixed Assets:
Ensure assets are capitalised through the ledger monthlyCalculate the monthly depreciation charge following the monthly asset capitalisationControl the reconciliation of the fixed asset suspense accountEnsure the Fixed Asset Registers are maintained and reconciledRaising of projects codes to monitor capital spend, highlighting any overspends

Intercompany reconciliationsPrepare and produce VAT return schedulesSupport in preparing budgets and forecastsPrepare information and questionnaires for ONS submission
