Sheridan Maine is thrilled to be partnering with an esteemed Ringwood based business, known for its excellence and innovation in the industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ledger Clerk to join their team.

Responsibilities of the Senior Ledger Clerk will include:
  • Assist the Ledger Supervisor by managing complex queries, providing support, and facilitating workflow optimisation within the Ledger Department.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior members of the finance team, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their work.
  • Implement robust controls to manage data modifications, specifically concerning bank details, and uphold their effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation and implement efficiency improvements within the ledger function.
  • Responsible for the purchase ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of invoices, expenses and payment runs.
  • Assist with raising and invoices and direct debit plans.
  • Assist with daily banking routine where required.
The successful Senior Ledger Clerk will possess:
  • Experience in the property management sector is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
  • Educated to A-level standard.
