The role: Cyber Security Architect
Join British Airways, a global leader in aviation, where safety and security are paramount. As a Cyber Security Architect, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our systems and services against emerging cyber threats, ensuring a resilient cyber security framework that supports our commitment to operational excellence and customer trust.
What you'll do:
- Recommend security controls and propose solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Provide specialized advice and influence stakeholders across BA and IAG Tech.
- Develop and communicate cyber security architectures, patterns, and standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging cloud security technologies and industry best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance security measures to mitigate evolving risks.
- Collaborate closely with BA Tech Delivery Teams and the IAG Cyber Security Office to integrate cyber security into system design and delivery processes.
What you'll bring to British Airways:
- Skills / Capabilities: Proficiency in cyber security architecture principles, with the ability to develop and maintain cyber architectural artifacts.
- Core Traits: Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable to complex environments. You possess strong prioritization skills and a commitment to promoting cyber security best practices.
- Experience: Experience developing cyber design/architecture in diverse environments. Familiarity with Agile development cycles and ideally, exposure to aviation systems.
Your experience:
- Qualifications: Relevant cyber architecture certifications (e.g., CISSP-ISSAP, TOGAF) are desirable.
- Experience: Demonstrable track record in cyber security architecture and design, with a keen awareness of industry trends and technical guidance.
