This will be a varied role covering all elements of indirect tax (e.g. VAT, Customs, Environmental Taxes) and involve significant advisory and business partnering responsibilities

Client Details

Large multinational business in Cheshire

Description

  • Indirect tax business partnering across the group and support on projects such as M&A and structuring work
  • Key point of contact for all VAT, customs, environmental taxes matters
  • Tax control checks and maintain risk and controls register, review VAT return and take ownership of customs (full training and support to be provided if candidates don't have prior customs experience)

Profile

  • Strong indirect tax / VAT knowledge and experience - can be gained either from practice or industry (or both)
  • Excellent relationship building skills to collaborate effectively with all areas of the business
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to pro-actively add value to the team and help contribute to the growth of the group
