Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business who are looking to recruit a Vehicle Mechanics Apprenticeship Coach on a 12 month contract basis due to growth to cover the midlands. This position is also fully remote working from home with travelling to various sites.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and review learners inline with the customers expectations
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed to the correct standard and within agreed timelines
  • Provide portfolio building advice and guidance to learners based on the requirements of their programme
  • Effectively record, plan and track individual learner progress in accordance with agreed paperwork and reporting processes

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Considerable experience in the vehicle mechanic field
  • Good understanding of work-based learning programmes
  • Previous experience in the defence sector, ideally within the army arena (desired not essential)
  • Relevant industry related qualification (Vehicle Mechanic minimum of Level 3)
  • Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (desirable)
  • Award / Certificate in Education & Training (or equivalent)
  • Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent)
