HR Operations Advisor - People Team - Human Resources - Manchester
Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is a global professional services firm specializing in turnaround and interim management, performance improvement and business advisory services. We are in search for a bi-lingual, driven and hands on HR professional. This role is for someone who wants to make a difference, who is looking for a challenge and for regional exposure and who can work as a team player.
The People Operations Team look after the EMEA region (24 countries). The team is vital for building A&M's culture and setting clear boundaries and expectations to adhere to. We are key in creating transparent processes for the entire employee journey. We are also responsible for ensuring that our SLAs are met and that the data, processes, policies and the general logistics in the lifecycle of the employees run smoothly. We are keen on making sense of data, so if you are good at data analytics and have an eye for detail, this role is for you.
As a member of the HR Ops team your aim will be to drive high quality in all the below and more:
- Within our agreed SLAs, provide a timely, efficient and responsive HR Operations service, advising and guiding managers and staff across EMEA
- Provide support to HR Operations Managers and leaders in the design and delivery of training on HR Operations processes and systems including the creation of accompanying guidance manuals
- When required support the HR Operations Manager in work allocation, distribution and follow up
- Maintain accurate HR & Payroll data through timely recording and upkeep of information on both the HR Information system and manual files
- Ensure control processes are followed and maintain a complete audit trail of all changes. In the case of the HR Information system carry out regular cleansing of data
- Manage the employee lifecycle (EMEA contract preparation and changes, documentation preparation, right to work, background checks, comp management and recording, absence management among others)
- Participate and potentially take ownership of several pivotal HR Operations projects
- Work as part of a team to ensure queries are answered in an efficient and timely manner (error free) against KPI's and SLA's
- Update and communicate monthly HR reports and develop new and useful metrics
- Reviewing and ensure that all policies are up to date and escalate as appropriate
- Provide insightful ideas and execution to constantly improve the service provided by the Ops team, to use our system to its fullest and improve end user experience
- Assist the global mobility team with immigration processes, relocation and transfers
- Work & collaborate with all other Corporate and non-Corporate Teams to achieve continuous improvement and a seamless service

-Excellent communication & listening skills, knowing how to get a message across to others and establishing a strong rapport with employees and peers
