Requirements:

  • Join a leading company in the micro-mobility industry as a Van Driver and E-Bike Mechanic Lead. In this dynamic role, you will collect, move, and maintain the company's fleet of e-bikes, ensuring they are available and in top condition for everyone. You'll oversee a team of mechanics, manage repairs, and deliver excellent service. Strong driving skills, technical expertise, leadership, and a passion for sustainable transportation are essential. Responsibilities:

As an Lead Mechanic/Driver, you will:

  • Transport E-Bikes: Collect and relocate e-bikes to and from the workshop to ensure optimal availability throughout the area.
  • Perform Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on e-bikes to ensure they are safe and functional.
  • Manage Repairs: Diagnose and repair any issues with the e-bikes, ensuring timely service and minimal downtime.
  • Supervise Team: Oversee a team of mechanics, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage parts inventory to ensure all necessary tools and components are available for repairs.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring bikes are available, functional, and meet customer expectations.
  • Fleet Management: Track the fleet's condition and performance, reporting any major issues to management.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols are followed during transportation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
  • Optimise Operations: Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency of bike distribution and maintenance processes.
  • Data Reporting: Maintain records of maintenance and repairs, providing regular updates and reports to management.
