We are keen to appoint a teacher of Design and Technology with to join our successful, supportive and forward-looking department. Candidates can be experienced or newly qualified, but the successful candidate will be a motivated and dynamic colleague, with a passion for raising standards and attainment. The successful candidate will be able to teach across the ability and age range, supporting the development of DT to the highest standards for all pupils at Key Stages 3 and 4.

We are seeking someone with:

A passion for teaching and learning and a sound subject knowledge, that can be utilised to challenge all students.The ability to motivate, inspire and stimulate curiosity, interest and enjoyment of Design and Technology (Product Design) in students.The ability to teach Food Technology or Textiles will be welcomed.The ability to be a/or become an excellent classroom practitioner with creative teaching skills and a professional approach.High expectations of students in terms of learning, achievement and behaviour.The determination to raise student achievement.
