Route 1, a recruiting for reputable company based in Leeds, LS9, is seeking a diligent Warehouse Administrator to complement our team. As a Warehouse Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring efficient handling and management of materials and inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently receive materials and accurately log them into the stock system. Regularly audit stock quantities to maintain accuracy.
- Coordinate both internal and external stock transfers, ensuring timely dispatch of parts and products.
- Cross-reference pick lists, pick kits from generated lists, and allocate free stock as per requirements.
- Document and quarantine non-conforming parts, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Re-order consumable stock from suppliers and replenish shop floor consumables as needed.
- Assist in the production of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Proficiency in inventory management software/systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
