Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Site Supervisor Voids to join our team, based in Derby and surrounding areas. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis working 40 hours per week, 8:00am 4:30pm Monday to Friday, plus Call Out on an Out of Hours Rota. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £34,650 per annum, Plus Company Van & Fuel Card Plus Excellent Benefits

Responsibilities for the Voids Supervisor role are:

Manage and supervise trade operatives and sub-contractors in the most profitable and productive way possible, ensuring correct procedures, processes and systems are in place.

Receive and issue daily job orders to and from trade operatives and subcontractors, taking the lead working with the contract manager and other team members on all aspects of delivery, including implementation and completion / signoff of all void instructions.

Ensure the consistent delivery of an efficient and cost-effective customer-focused operational service, covering all maintenance and repairs activity undertaken by the section by aligning labour resource and materials to the planned needs of projects.

Utilise a schedule of rates and narrative descriptions in the preparation of job orders and assist the quantity surveyor to submit void quotations and variations.

Carry out pre, post and intermediate site inspection visits, involving all Health & Safety elements, including weekly Audits.

Develop and update contract / project programmes, providing regular updates on progress.

Identify work streams and prioritise workload to ensure work is completed within contractual agreements.

Undertake quality checks on completed work, or work in progress.

Maintain accurate and effective files/ records, including use of computerised systems.

Ensure processes and procedures are in place and regularly reviewed.

Develop and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders.

Monitor and report on contractual KPI s.

Attend client meetings.

What we are looking for in our ideal Void Supervisor:

Previous management experience and valid driver s license

Experience within a housing/ construction environment is required.

Voids property repairs site management experience is essential, including measurement and specifications of works and post inspections.

Demonstrated ability to improve service and performance.

Be able to work to deadlines and prioritise work effectively.

Experience of using IT systems, including Microsoft office software (Outlook/ Word and Excel)

Have a good understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace.
