  • Preparing the monthly P&L and balance sheet reports
  • Tax reporting and inventory processing
  • Preparing the annual budget, anaylsing and forecasting
  • Preparing weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow
  • Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
  • Conducting internal audits, mostly on revenues
  • Quarterly and monthly reporting
  • Ensuring the quality of Payroll (weekly, monthly) including PAYE & NIC
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Managing Sales & Purchase ledgers
  • Dealing with accruals, prepayments, fixed assets
  • Preparing quarterly VAT returns
  • Advising on estimates for project funding
  • Managing and training staff when necessary
  • Act as the principal contact for tax, pension, audit issues, insurance, and statutory returns
To be successful in this role :

  • BSc in Accountancy & Finance
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
  • 5 years + of relevant financial analysis in a similar industry (property)
  • Knowledge of ERP system (DYNAMICS, ORACLE, SAP) + advanced EXCEL skills
  • Working knowledge of GAAP would be preferable
