Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 4 PMO team members across the AMS, EMEA and APAC regions including regional leads and cost consultancy
  • Capital Spend of $150m over next 5 years in Managed Principal according to the global MSA
  • Support Capital planning process on behalf of client.
  • Meet directly with clients from an in-country/site level perspective to educate them on CBRE project management services and opportunities to support their needs including work efforts outside of those that require RE involvement.
  • Partner with local in-country project management teams to develop plans to support individual tactics with comprehensive proposals that are compliant with global MSA requirements, fee structures, account requirements and country specific requirements. Ensure staffing plans are sufficient to support proposed work efforts.
  • Responsible for all PJM local teams to be aware of client's safety standards and that they have the proper level of HSE support in their proposals, understand how the on-site FM HSE individual will interact with the local team (roles/responsibilities) and ensure the local teams use the allocated budget for HSE. Integrate with on-account HSE for confirmation/clarifications as needed (inspections, permits, vendor assessments, etc)
  • Fully responsible to ensure local project management staff working on client projects have taken all required trainings (safety, standards, other as required, KPI required orientation)
  • Ensure that each project is managed in full accordance with the client processes by PMO team and meets not only the global client/CBRE standards but also all country specific requirements.
  • Ensure On-Time / On-Budget metrics are met in line with the KPI tolerances on all projects.
  • Weekly & Monthly PMO Dashboard reporting to key stakeholders on progress, risk, schedules and quality.
  • Create standard reporting templates and ensure proper adherence to formatting to provide both internal and external consistency in all reporting functions.
  • DOA approval of Kahua PO's and budgets
  • Assist in preparation of Project Budgets and Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROM's).
  • Create a clear process between our CBRE Real Estate team (inclusive of occupancy, transactions, others) to ensure alignment amongst all CBRE entities supporting client including: pipeline of potential projects related to potential expansion, building exits and/or new space.
  • Coordinate and prepare various reports and presentations as required.
  • Project Vendor Management performance monitoring of designers, consultants and contractors.
  • Devise and communicate procurement strategies for approval, inclusive of meeting mandatory diversity spend requirements.
  • Adhere to all client design and engineering standards EHS standards and all site specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) inclusive of site specific interpretations of the global SN's
  • processes and reporting requirements
  • Ensure correct contracting process is followed for each region and that service levels are met in compliance with agreements.
  • Prepare project scheduling and conflict avoidance with BAU and FM activities and change freezes to maximize programme duration and minimise risk.
  • Act as a corporate citizen, working collaboratively with other business leaders to achieve Company targets, develop talent and succession plans and present a joined-up approach to clients
  • Act as a role model so that the CBRE culture and behaviours are embedded in the Division, leading by example.

Person Specification/Requirements

  • Degree qualification with additional post graduate study desirable, RICS preferred
  • 10-15 years' experience of successfully delivering projects in corporate environment
  • English language skills both orally and written essential
  • Proven track record in sales to demonstrate growing and commercially managing a business unit
  • Experience delivering on multi-million dollar capital projects within the real estate sector
  • Experience and skills in understanding, developing and maintaining client relationships, including networking to develop market place opportunities
  • Strong presentation skills and proven ability to secure new business
  • Experience and understanding of the complexities of working across global regions
  • Demonstrable leadership and people skills
  • Analytically minded with strong financial and numerical skills
  • Entrepreneurship and flair for innovation
  • Proficient in common application software (Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Travel will be required
