Senior Global Medical Director – Rare Disease This Senior Medical Director role is the Global Medical Affairs Asset Lead for a recently acquired compound.

Alongside the cross functional Asset Leads and as part of the Asset team, you will be accountable for developing and delivering the Global Medical Affairs strategy in order to achieve the agreed objectives.

For this role it is essential that any interested candidates have Global Medical Affairs experience, possess excellent leadership and influencing skills and have worked in the Rare Disease space (although other disease area backgrounds will be considered such as Gastroenterology and Hepatology).


Key responsibilities:
and execute global Asset medical strategy for designated, including the development of a 5 year planengage with the Asset Team for strategy planning and update meetingswith wider cross functional teams as required to deliver projectsthe creation and communication of integrated medical data generation and real-world evidence plansthe development of the Medical Access Strategy and drive its executionthe business at key scientific meetingsand oversee ongoing Asset medical studiesexternal engagement strategy and maintain relationships with top tier KOLsand lead Medical Affairs activities for all relevant major conferencesof direct reports

Candidate Requirements:
degree (MD, MPharm, PhD) in the life sciences or relevant clinical disciplinearea experience in Rare Disease, Gastroenterology or Hepatologyexperience in an international Medical Affairs settingand delivered a global/regional Medical Affairs planrecord of line managing a teamleadership and influencing skillsin developing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersTo apply for this position please use the "Apply" option or feel free to send your CV directly to the Pharma-Partners team via email -
