Salary: £45,326 depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Review of design changes to understand impacts on test documentation
  • Generation of test cases/test scripts, incorporating the results of requirements capture into the test scripts
  • Execution of test activities, both informal/risk reduction testing to support product development and formal testing to capture clearance evidence
  • Generation/approval of test reports & creation/approval of formal problem reports (SPRs)
  • Support problem investigations
  • Generation of MaTE Test Environments
  • Recording and documents results, collating test support documents
  • Liaising with multiple departments within the organisation

Your skills and experiences:

  • A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent with relevant experience gained on an aircraft engineering project or related field
  • The ability to develop and present a range of complex data to a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience of working with the Typhoon Aircraft end user is highly desirable but not essential
  • Ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously, priorities work as appropriate and dealing rapidly with short notice requests and changes

The Subsystem test and Qualification team:

This role presents an ideal opportunity to work within a high performing engineering team with the opportunity to work closely with subject matter experts and develop knowledge of the Typhoon DASS. The successful candidate will be involved with hands on rig testing and the generation of the associated test documentation and reporting. This is an incredibly interesting time to join as the Subsystem test team are involved with new capabilities.
