Science Teacher – Early Career Teacher (ECT)

Required for September 2024

Following on from the appointment of new Director of Science at Goffs Academy, we are excited to announce we are expanding our department and seeking to recruit a new, dynamic ECT Science teacher who is keen to join a dynamic, forward-thinking department with opportunities to develop outstanding teaching practices in a fully supportive environment.

The position will start in September 2024; however, we will be flexible for the right candidate. The successful candidate for this position:

Will have a passion for learning and teaching and kindling curiosity for science in young peopleBelieves in the right of every student to fulfil their potential and find joy in the natural worldUnderstands the power of partnerships beyond the school gate in inspiring our future generationsHas the potential and drive to be an outstanding practitioner, with the energy and ideas to inspire, motivate and challenge studentsIs looking to work as a team to further develop the department to become a centre of excellence within the school
