The Team:

AML Onboarding function delivers support for Global Markets and Banking business with AML KYC Onboarding process. The team requires a Senior Data Analyst responsible for designing and delivering AML Onboarding reporting.

Job Description:

This job is responsible for providing analytical support in a Global Markets Operations function for one or more operations product areas. Key responsibilities include analysing and resolving highly complex operations problems requiring exceptional handling and coordination of multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. Job expectations include managing projects and the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products, services, and processes and coordinating necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and products.

Responsibilities:

You will build relationships to facilitate collaboration with internal and external business partners, including Ops teams, COOs, Refresh Operations, Global Financial Crimes, Risk & Compliance and TechnologyYou will analyse problems and identify both tactical and strategic solutions, formulating multi-generational plans You will manage an initiative from end-to-end starting with understanding the business need, gathering requirements, setting expectations, analysing the data, and delivering the final solution, with transparency throughoutYou will navigate multiple data environments and utilize different analytics tools to transform data into actionable, data-driven solutionsYou will understand relational databases containing customer, associate, product, and transaction dataYou will turn that data into insights in order to 'tell the story' and present findings to various levels of the organization, including senior management and risk leadersYou will monitor and test the effectiveness of key controls and status of mitigation and/or action plansYou will adhere to a risk culture, including peer reviews, change management discipline, standardization of processes, and rigorous documentationYou will strive for continuous process improvement through standardization and automation to reduce errors and increase efficiency

What we are looking for:
You will have experience as a Data Analyst, or equivalent role in financial services industry or related fieldYou will be proficient in utilizing data mining/analytics tools such as Toad, Teradata SQL Assistant, Microsoft SQL Server, SASYou will have experience in business analysis via Excel-based analytics, e.g. External Links, V-Lookups & Pivot TablesYou will be highly motivated, proactive and a self-starter; sense of ownership & ability to create and execute plans without daily oversightYou must be flexible and have experience working in a fast paced & high-pressure environment, managing multiple projects at onceYou will have a solid understanding and proficiency of BI tools like Tableau & AlteryxYou will have access Database experience, including VBA knowledge
