You do not need prior experience in Stand-by Displays but will have had practical experience of full lifecycle systems engineering. What you will do:
- Lead and be accountable for the delivery of systems engineering aspects for assigned projects.
- Part of the project leadership team working alongside the Engineering Project Manager to meet cost, scope and schedule objectives and mitigate technical risks.
- Provide technical direction to the systems team and ensure coordination with adjacent disciplines (SW, HW, safety, reliability etc).
- Technical liaison to customers and suppliers within the context of assigned projects.
- Work towards technical authorising signatory of systems engineering artefacts.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to the project team members.
- Active champion for systems engineering best practice and professional development.
Whilst In depth knowledge of aviation/safety critical product development methodology and standards (e.g SAE ARP4754A, RTCA DO-178C and DO-254) would be ideal, we would welcome applicants from similarly rigorous industries.
