Role Purpose
To develop and deliver Porterbrooks strategy for managing ESG-related risks and opportunities, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to best practice, and driving continuous improvement in sustainability performance.

ResponsibilitiesIdentify and assess ESG risks and opportunities, and develop strategies for managing them, enhancing long-term resilience and driving sustainability performanceLead the implementation of Porterbrooks sustainability strategy, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to agree and oversee the delivery of ESG initiativesDevelop suite of relevant metrics and targets and monitor progress (including against Net Zero targets), streamlining the collection and analysis of non-financial dataEnsure compliance with current and emerging ESG-related laws and regulations, as well as adherence to best practice where appropriateEnhance and deliver Porterbrooks ESG reporting and disclosuresManage the annual GRESB assessment and make recommendations for the adoption of other frameworks, benchmarks and ratingsSupport the delivery and embedding of an ISO 14001 certified Environmental Management System in line with the responsibilities set out in SMS/ENV/T1/01Manage ESG requests from key stakeholders including shareholders and lendersWork with the Structured Finance team to maximise opportunities associated with green financingSkills, Knowledge and Expertise
General RequirementsProven track record of successfully developing and implementing ESG strategies
