Responsibilities:- Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls accurately and promptly
- Support team members with training and leadership
- Perform manual calculations for SSP, SMP, SPP, and verify against payroll software
- Review client-provided information and address any queries
- Generate reports for managers from the payroll system
- Finalize payroll upon client confirmation and distribute reports and payslips
- Upload pension details to the designated provider within deadlines
- Manage daily payroll data inbox, including logging changes and resolving client queries
- Produce year-end reports and issue P60s
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements
- Prior high-volume payroll experience in a bureau setting
- Familiarity with payroll legislation
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Experience with payroll software such as Sage
- Understanding of auto-enrolment and Directors NIC
