Title:
Experienced Site Manager Required for High Voltage Projects

Introductory Paragraph:


We are currently seeking 2 experienced and skilled Site Managers to oversee two substation build projects in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

Our client is a leading construction company that specializes in high voltage sectors, with a particular focus on new switch room builds and transformer installations.


Key Responsibilities:
As the appointed site manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project from start to finish

This includes:

  • Managing subcontractors
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
  • Coordinating deliveries
  • Overseeing quality control processes

Qualifications/Experience:


To qualify for this role, candidates must have at least 5 years' experience as a site manager within the construction industry or related field.

Additionally, they should possess strong leadership skills along with excellent organizational abilities.

Skills Needed:
Project Management - The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in managing complex infrastructure projects while ensuring timely completion.

Leadership Skills - As our future team leader; we require someone who has exceptional interpersonal communication capabilities combined with effective problem-solving competencies.

Technical Expertise - Experience working on similar HV Infrastructure schemes would be advantageous but not essential.
Communication Skills - You'll need top-notch verbal/written communication skills when dealing effectively across teams both internally & externally.

Contract Details:


This is initially offered as contract work based out of Hertfordshire paying £400 per day depending upon your level of expertise/experience required by our client's needs (to cover travel expenses).

We anticipate these contracts running up until December '25 which may extend further dependant on performance review following successful delivery against UKPN Framework standards.

The contractor will need to work either through the CIS scheme or via an Umbrella company.
