The Langham, London; Europe's first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for a Bartender in our Palm Court lounge.

The dazzling Palm Court is famed as the place where the tradition of afternoon tea was born over 150 years ago.

In this role, we are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.

As a Bartender in Palm Court, your main role will be to:

• create memorable cocktails and offering spirits, wines and beers
• prepare any other beverage, including hot beverages (Barista skills required) that are requested by guests
• support all the team in delivering an excellent experience for guests
• assist in timely beverage preparation
• maintain the cleanliness of the Front and Back of House areas
• set-up barista station for service
• ensure all working areas are fully stocked and organised in a clean and tidy manner
• be familiar with all hot beverage items on the menu
• have flair, charisma and charm in a theatrical environment
• be immaculately presented, attentive and proactive with the ability to respond quickly to needs of our guests
• be an excellent team player with exceptional communication skills
• ensure that licensing laws and health and safety matters are adhered to

Do you have? -? similar experience in a luxury 5* hotel

• the ability to work under pressure
• to ability to multitask – engage with guests sitting at the bar whilst preparing drinks
• excellent knowledge of cocktails and offering spirits, wines, beers and hot beverage, in particular coffee
• the ability adapt swiftly and seamlessly to situations that arise
• passion in ensuring a delightful experience for clients and guests alike
• good communication skills and very good level of English
