External Caretaker in Torfaen County Borough

Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Caretaker (External) to join our Places and Spaces team.
As a Caretaker (External), you will mainly be working in a ground maintenance setting dealing with grass, weeds, shrubs, and hedges. There is also an element of cleansing and addressing other issues like fly tipping.
You will need to ensure the effective involvement and engagement of residents and other stakeholders in decisions about their needs and aspirations for the look and feel of the locality.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a sound knowledge of grounds maintenance tools and practices, health and safety and public safety.
You will need to be outgoing and able to liaise with members of the public as required.
