Job Description
The Contract Attorney - Commercial Contracts will report directly to the General Counsel and will be responsible for handling a wide range of high volume commercial agreements:
Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of high-dollar value complex commercial contracts, usually with a global scope, including: RFPs, MSAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, technology agreements, etc.Handle negotiations directly with large multinational clientsWork with global legal team members on large commercial contracts Effectively work with internal business units to provide sound legal adviceAssist with other matters on an as needed basis The Successful Applicant JD from US ABA-accredited law schoolAdmission to US State Bar (in good standing)4-7 years of experience as an in-house counsel advising on high volume complex commercial contracts and transactions, ideally within a global organizationMust have experience negotiating directly with clients for large-scale global RFPs and other vendor contractsExcellent experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contracts, including: technology agreements, consulting agreements, MSAs, SOWs, NDAsExperience working within professional services and/or management consulting is highly preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent understanding of all technology (MS Office, Excel, Word, Zoom, Teams, WebEx, etc.) What's on Offer Hybrid role from NJ office (1-2x in office per week)3 month contract with potential to be extended Competitive hourly rate-
