WHAT TO EXPECT

The role is to provide general support to projects and their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies. It will involve stakeholder management, setting tasks out for others to complete in a timely manner. Typically, this will involve the identification; planning and coordination of specific projects within Early Operations Delivery.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Assist with key strategic projects and work streams, ensuring quality, cost and timescales are prioritised as appropriate
  • Assist in the planning and organising of the project and operational meetings for the area
  • Coordinate opportunities to improve processes and ways of working on programmes across the area and define best practices
  • Carry out any risk assessment on projects to ensure contingency plans are in place
  • Effective stakeholder management and contracting to ensure projects add value and are aligned to stakeholder expectations

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Experience of process improvement and working in a project support role in Manufacturing or Engineering
  • Relevant experience required
  • Strong understanding of project management principles
  • Confidence in presenting relevant material
  • Understanding of commodity planning
