Are you passionate about cloud technology and infrastructure? Do you have a knack for solving complex technical issues? Our Information Technology department has an opportunity for a Cloud Services Engineer.
As a Cloud Services Engineer at the SRA, you will take on a hands-on technical role, focusing on 3rd line technical support You will be supporting our Microsoft 365, Azure, and on-premises infrastructure.
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to maintaining and enhancing our IT services.
Additionally, you will develop and maintain technical documentation, provide technical expertise for project build and implementation, and drive continual service improvement across the Operations function.
Showcase your expertise of Office 365 and other SaaS based environments
To be at the forefront of driving continual service improvement across the Service and Operations function
Input into the proactive management of monitoring and alerting across the SRA estate
Opportunity to use your strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Develop strong working relationships at all levels to make sure that services are in line with our standards
Work collaboratively with others in the IT team
What we are looking for
Strong experience in 2nd and/or 3rd line technical IT services delivery and support.
Experience of supporting Windows Server (2016 onwards)
Experience of Microsoft Azure services and resources
Experience of Microsoft Office 365 administration and management
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online administration
Knowledge of PowerShell scripting
Strong knowledge in Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Office 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) or equivalent certifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
