We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions division. This team is responsible for developing the Fusion compute engine, a cloud-based platform for Design and Manufacturing workflows.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and deploying reliable, scalable, and secure web services on AWS. Your primary responsibility will be the development of a compute service that delivers comprehensive computer-aided design (CAD) and manufacturing (CAM) functionalities via a REST API.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing the architecture of web services, with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Setting up and performing automatic and regular deployments of web services.
  • Configuring access controls and security of web services.
  • Defining and implementing testing strategies for service deployments.
  • Defining and implementing APIs for web services.
  • Creating documentation and learning materials for services and APIs.

Requirements include:

  • Excellent technical knowledge in backend web development methodologies and DevOps.
  • Strong experience with AWS services, in particular ECS, EC2, and AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, ideally Terraform.
  • Experience with container technology.
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript (required), C++ (optional).
