I am currently working closely with a Shropshire school in the wonderful town of Shrewsbury in supporting them with their recruitment for a Music Teacher

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Music, Education, or a related field (PGCE or QTS preferred).
  • Proven experience teaching Music at secondary level, preferably in a similar educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Dedication to promoting a positive learning environment and supporting the holistic development of students.
  • Commitment to upholding the school's values and ethos.
  • We will seek full referencing and DBS checks will before placing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver exciting lessons that cater to all students
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans that are in accordance with the curriculum
  • Provide a supportive and positive learning environment for all students.
  • Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and support student success.
