One of the appointments we are seeking is a Teaching Associate who will provide teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Media & Creative Industries and provide advice as a member of a teaching team within an established programme of study.

The role holder will have knowledge and teaching experience of media and communication studies and creative and cultural industries, including teaching these subjects at Master's level to small group seminars.

Candidates must hold a PhD in Media & Communications; Film/Screen Studies; Creative & Cultural Industries or related fields, and have previous experience of teaching at Higher Education level. You should have detailed knowledge of teaching methods and techniques and growing practical experience of application of teaching skills and techniques to university courses.

This role is available on a fixed-term contract until 31/01/2025. Hours of work are full-time hours). Job share arrangements may be considered.

Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.
