Elim Housing Group is a provider of affordable housing and support services in the West of England and Gloucestershire. We are looking for a HR Officer to join our Human Resources Team at our Head Office in Rudgeway. The HR Officer will be responsible for contributing to the work of the HR team in supporting management, staff and other stakeholders, to ensure delivery of the business plan objectives and HR strategy.

Purpose and outcomes

Ø To support the work of the HR team and undertake HR work which contributes to the achievement of the association's business plan and HR strategy.

Ø To ensure effective communication with customers and stakeholders in delivering our HR service.

Ø To be an ambassador for Elim Housing and represent our values and aspirations in delivering services.

Key responsibilities

Ø The first point of contact for HR and employee relations queries, including policies and procedures and terms and conditions.



Ø Responsible for payroll administration, including accurately inputting new starter details and employee changes onto Sage and producing reports as required.



Ø Work with the Head of HR to source, commission and book training courses and activities to meet Elim's mandatory,

Ø Proactive in supporting line managers to address staffing and performance issues.

Ø Administer staff benefits, to include Pensions and Healthshield.

Ø Confidential and comply with GDPR and employment legislation.

Ø Responsible for the management and administration of start to end employment processes, from recruitment through the end of employment, ensuring an excellent service is provided to our internal customers.

Ø Contribute to projects and HR strategic initiatives, including Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and culture and values.

Ø Contribute to the design and delivery of management development and coaching sessions.

Ø Contribute to the achievement of HR key performance indicators and prepare statistical information and reports.

Ø Manage the administration of the HR management system (Cascade).

Ø Actively promote and role model the Elim CARES values in the customer service they provide
