This role is based in our distillery which is a hive of activity and where we make our best-tasting gin sold across bars, restaurants and retail including Waitrose and Ocado. As an independent family business, we are committed to meeting our long-term sustainable goals and are B-Corp certified meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance.What we're looking for: We are searching for an energetic and enthusiastic, hands-on gin lover to join our small, dynamic, and ambitious marketing and communications team. This is an exciting opportunity to support Hayman's Gin as well as other brands in our portfolio and to gain exposure to the full marketing mix within the competitive spirits market. This role is based full time on-site at our beautiful distillery in Balham, London and includes Friday night drinks at the bar and staff discounts on our brands. You will report to the Senior Brand Manager with support from the Assistant Brand Manager. The marketing team are responsible for increasing brand awareness in retail, online and in the On-trade (bars and restaurants). You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to support the delivery of our digital marketing and brand plans. This will include social media, activations, events, website and sampling.Key responsibilities: Supporting the Assistant Brand Manager to deliver and distribute engaging content across social platforms aligned to our brand tone of voice. Alongside involvement in seeding and sourcing influencers.Representing our brand across a number of trade shows, consumer events and sampling activations.Maintain well archived point of Sale and digital asset management.Own marketing reports and presentation updates for internal and external distribution.Support the day to day management of the distillery shop, inbox and administrative supportSupport the Distillery Host at our Training Academy workshops and Distillery tours. Some flexibility will be needed to work events and assist at Distillery tours in the evenings and weekends.What we are looking for: University Student looking for a placement opportunity and returning to full time education after placement.Marketing or Business-related degree is preferable but not essential.A organised and pro-active team player with a flexible approachA Social native – someone with an interest in social media and content.Experience in bars/ hospitality desired but not essential.Full Driving license desired.Fluent in written and spoken English.Strong PC Skills including high proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, excel, powerpoint.Living within a commutable distance of our Distillery in Balham, LondonThis role is recommended for an outgoing individual who is a people person.
