Position Purpose

Accountable for the planning and delivery of web channel capabilities including web applications, web platform capabilities, and integrations with other internal or external systems, both from a new build/investment as well as ongoing operations standpoint in support of marketing goals & objectives to enhance customer experience & engagement.

Primarily partner Production Managers and Engagement Specialists of WCC team, to plan/deliver on web channel capabilities that have the greatest impact on the enterprise, set the right expectations, and ensure that IT resources are appropriately engaged to fulfill the intended business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the WCC team & IT teams to plan/deliver web capabilities & optimize processes & technology to enable web experiences that drive effective customer engagement.
• Partner with the business unit representatives and internal IT organizations to convert business requirements into functional requirements.
• Support the development of long-term month) roadmaps identifying web capabilities that have the greatest impact on marketing business capabilities worldwide.
• Develop comprehensive business case(s) to support business outcomes of new/upgraded web capabilities.
• Accountable for committed business outcomes of web capabilities implemented within the respective area.
• Lead standup of key components through fruition within the web capability area in line with business goals.
• Partner with the WCC team leads to support the adoption of web capabilities by effective business process design, change management, end user training.
• Demonstrate the ability to identify high value differentiating capabilities when making web capability tool(s) choices.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement such as increasing productivity or cost savings.
• Responsible for ensuring that all IT functions are successful in their delivery of services for the WCC teams.
• Partner with key matrix IT partner functions include enterprise & data architecture, cyber security, enterprise applications & platforms, portfolio & program management, enterprise information management, infrastructure services.
• Work closely with the Enabling Functions IT teams to align and identify opportunities / synergies in web capabilities enabled through IT investments.

Desired Experience

• Digital Marketing domain experience.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the confidence to build strong partnerships & influence senior business leaders.
• Demonstrated leadership in the planning and execution of enterprise web capabilities for commercialization business units.
• Hands-on experience with multiple implementations of web platform capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead & drive web design and web platform strategy.
• Ability to lead the analysis of complex business needs and integrate those into compelling and actionable strategic plans.
• Is solution / user experience oriented with the ability to guide delivery team resources.
• Ability and comfort working with matrix management in delivering web capabilities. Matrix management includes business capability leaders as well as IT capability leaders.
• Deep understanding of IT processes like information/data architecture, data privacy reviews, cyber security reviews, risk assessments etc.
• Ability to manage business process analysis and improvement including cost benefit analysis/estimation and post implementation KPI metrics delivery.
• Ability to scan technical landscape for cutting edge solutions & create business cases for new investments to implement solutions & services, and managing the delivery process.

Other Experience

• Financial planning experience with budget management and business case development.
• Working knowledge of agile software-development lifecycle methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to support a dynamic culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Potential to develop into an internally and externally recognized thought-leader in the field of Web channel capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with demonstrated IT experience.
• Strong business knowledge with proven leadership abilities.
• Familiarity with and awareness of the Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Capable of working cooperatively across boundaries and within a matrix to achieve results.
• Ability to deliver complex systems to one or multiple geographies and business units.
• Experienced in information technology and management, project and portfolio management, planning & delivery of systems/solutions.
• Demonstrates influencing skills with key partners across functions/regions.
