Your Vital Role:

As a Welfare Assistant, you'll be the guardian of student well-being, with key responsibilities that include:

Providing essential first aid and compassionate care when students need it most. A paediatric first aid qualification is essential.

Offering empathetic support to students facing challenges, creating a safe and nurturing environment.

Expertly administering medication and maintaining precise records.

Collaborating closely with teachers and parents to meet each student's unique needs.

Keeping our Welfare/First Aid Room impeccably organized and ready to serve.

Making a significant contribution to the overall safety and well-being of our school community.

The Ideal Candidate for welfare assistant:

A valid first aid qualification is essential and prior experience in a school environment would be ideal.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and a heartfelt commitment to student welfare.

Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.

A background in a similar role or a genuine interest in championing student well-being.

Adaptability and a collaborative spirit, thriving in a team-oriented environment.

The gift of active listening and an innate ability to connect with students.
