Vision for Education are recruiting for an outstanding Art & Design Teacher for a secondary school based near Blackburn, starting September 2024.

About the role

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching Art & Design at KS3 and KS4 level.

This will be a full time role, and may have some requirement to pick up some DT classes within textiles. Experience in this area isn t essential as support and resources will be provided.

This role will start September 2024, for a maternity cover and will run till February 2025.

Requirements

To be considered for the Art & Design Teacher role you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
