Due to an internal promotion, we're now recruiting for a Regulatory & Control Analyst to support our strong financial governance and control. A key aspect of this role will be providing regulatory information, as well as working with the brand Finance Managers to provide best-in-class balance sheet control.

This is a hybrid role, working 3 days a week in our Leyland office and 2 days remotely.

Job Accountabilities
Meet with Finance Managers to assess balance sheets and support them to ensure it they are cleanly reconciled & have a clear ownerImplement a standard look/feel to balance sheet reconciliationsAgree framework for ongoing balance sheet reviews with Finance DirectorsConduct an intensive mini audit of balance sheets ahead of ICD/YE AuditsPrepare ATOL Renewals & ABTA BondingInternal Audit reportingImplement regular review/validation of controlsMaintain the Authority MatrixAssist in implementing the authority matrix within systems.Assist in publishing a consolidated UK Group Controls and Policy ManualBAU Regulatory ReportingPreparation of statutory accounts documents

To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

Studying ACCA/CIMA/ACAMonth end reporting & balance sheet reconciliation experienceExperience of working in a large diverse teamExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products essential.Independent decision-making skillsCritical thinking/problem solving.Excellent communication & negotiation skills.Experience of working with wider team (HR, Finance).

Desirable
Proven track record in working towards continuous improvement.Travel industry knowledge
