The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mixed Tax professional currently operating at Manager grade at present or ready to take their 1st step into management to join an ever-growing Tax team. As a Mixed Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic Tax advice and guidance to clients across a variety of industries.

You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Tax professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on a wide range of Tax matters including corporate Tax, Personal Tax, VAT, and Employment Taxes. (Corporate Tax and Personal Tax experience essential)
  • Lead and manage a team of Tax specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Develop and implement Tax planning strategies to optimise clients' Tax positions and mitigate risks.
  • Review complex Tax computations and returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Tax laws and regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for additional services.
  • Keep abreast of changes in Tax legislation and regulations, communicating updates and implications to clients and colleagues.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including networking, proposal preparation, and client presentations
    Experience:
    • Qualified Chartered Accountant or Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) with extensive experience in mixed Tax advisory roles.
    • Strong technical knowledge of UK Tax laws and regulations, with the ability to apply them in practical situations.
    • Proven track record of providing strategic Tax advice to a diverse client base, preferably within a reputable accounting firm.
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels.
    • Commercial acumen and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for business growth.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
